About Me
Kia Ora! I’m Bonnie, and I from Woodend, North Canterbury . I proudly whakapapa to Kāi Tahu, with my hapū being Ngāi Tuāhuriri and Ngāti Waewae. My Māori heritage is a big part of who I am, and I’m passionate about celebrating and sharing my culture with others. I love weaving Te Ao Māori into wedding ceremonies, creating special moments that honour both tradition and whānau.
Growing up in the country makes me a rural girl at heart, but these days you’ll find me loving a more suburban life with my husband, our cat Hendrix, and our rottweiler Cash. In my downtime, I’m all about good tunes—whether I’m listening or playing—travelling to new places, getting lost in a great book, having a boogie, catching up with friends and whānau, and cheering on the rugby.
Making a positive difference in people’s lives is what drives me, which is why I became a Registered Social Worker. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life and cultures. When I’m not officiating weddings, you’ll find me in my private practice, offering social work, counselling, business mentoring, and professional supervision. I love what I do and look forward to connecting with you!.

Becoming a Registered Celebrant has been a dream of mine since I attended my very first wedding at the age of 8, therefore I am super excited to now be able to make this a reality.
I enjoy meeting new people and love to organize and attend events!
I believe it is important to celebrate all of life’s milestones and to make the most out of every opportunity!
As well as being a celebrant I am also a qualified Wedding and Event Planner, so not only can I officiate your event I can also help you organize it!
By choosing me as your celebrant, I offer to make your day stress free, fun and a memorable day for yourselves’ and your family and friends to enjoy.
Aroha mai, aroha atu x.
